Cooking with Caroline

I've been teaching English as well as catering for culinary events since arriving in France from the UK over 20 years ago.

I'm combining these two skills with Cooking with Caroline! 

In small groups, your children will learn English whilst developing cooking skills and having fun in the kitchen. 

For the academic year beginning September 2026, I will be offering three classes every other Saturday.

• for the beginner / less experienced cooks
  09h-10h30
  and younger cooks 14h-15h30

• and for the older kids (approx. 8-10 years) 11h-12h30

Each week, we will be discovering a different pedagogic and culinary theme, with related English vocabulary - for example, making meringues and learning all about the egg.

​Your child will wear a 'Cooking with Caroline' apron in one of six colours (as illustrated). They will select the matching utensils appropriate to what we are making that week. And then they will use the same colour tea-towel when we wash and dry up. Tidying up is important too!

In addition, they'll each have a 'Cooking with Caroline' folder and we'll add to it each week - the recipes will be on this website. They will take home their delicious creations for parents to try!
